The mountains of Western NC are filled with special places of spiritual energy.

The early indigenous population considered the high mountains, rivers, and waterfalls to be places of healing and elevated energy. When the Europeans arrived they found similar “healing energy” throughout the mountains and many visitors came for the mountain air, hot springs, and relaxed slower pace of life. In more modern times, Asheville has become a New Age Mecca, a vortex of energy which draws spiritual seekers from throughout the world. We’ll visit some of the special sacred spots.
